An underground favourite

Ross Nusense has been heavily involved in the underground dance music scene since 2000. He has played at parties, clubs and festivals in the UK and EU. For Soul Awakening Festival he will be playing you some of the finest dub/steppas music.

El Gadzé will be bringing a dynamic dj set to us on Friday night, to compliment the vibe of the festival. He will deliver a powerful cocktail of music that can be refreshing and as relaxing as a cool sea breeze, or as revitalising and hot as the desert winds. Global underground, world music right on our doorstep. So looking forward to having him play for us 

DJFribbo (Ian) weaves medicinal musical journeys playing a finely crafted tapestry of World/Tribal/Medicine and Underground Dance rhythm and beats, where participants are invited to drop out of their thinking minds and into their energetic bodies. 

He will use music and frequencies to entice your body into flowing movement starting slow and exploratory, building up through the energy centres until we arrive in a more expansive frequency. 

From there we may journey further into our inner cosmos before landing and integrating our awareness into peaceful bliss.

David is a multi genre DJ with a passion for the joyful feel of electro swing and house.

He creates a welcoming space that is playful, creative, with a down to earth gentle masculine energy.

David has recently setup Sarsen Ecstatic Dance in North Wiltshire, and has been working with Ecstatic Dance Berkshire for more than a year.

As well as DJing David is known for his calming didgeridoo vibrations and producing music.

 Favilla's original tracks are comprised of a plethora of different instruments and rhythm styles from across the world to take you down a journey of universal sound. A musical alchemy of different cultures, genres, instruments and languages from Senegal West Africa, Yemen, China, America, Japan, India and the UK. A range of lo-fi hip hop/ glitchy boom bap, Afrobeat rhythm sections and emotive breakdowns. Favilla has been branching out into drum and bass, jungle and Afrobeat and has some exciting collabs with some well known producers in the Bristol music scene. She has the crowd captured with her live performance as she builds each track using Ableton and a Push to fire off her samples. She recently supported good friend Hippo-soundsystem and had the room packed and pumping.

The idea behind Favilla is to compose music which doesn't stick to the typical boundaries of genre or culture, though always having the upmost respect and appreciation of where each element is created and originates from. The album "Human Kind" represents the the human culture as one and celebrates the immensely beautiful and diverse expressions from across the world.

 I resonate a lot with your desire to create these experiences where we can truly enjoy living in the earth plane, becoming embodied and feeling connected to one another, and festivals such as yours can be a great way to achieve this.

My name is Tegan, I am a DJ and music producer by the name Lemuria, I make drum and bass music with the intention of spreading joy, wisdom and high vibrations, allowing people to dance and let loose whilst also enjoying the healing energy music can bring.
